Prices

Prices are in Swiss francs and in euros, depending on the country you connect from. Shipping is charged separately and is shown before the order is confirmed.

The order

The order is deemed accepted when the confirmation email arrives: from that moment there is a contract. When a numbered copy is chosen, that number is set aside the moment the order is placed and stays reserved while the order is open. If payment does not arrive, the order is cancelled and the number becomes available again.

Payment

Payment is possible by card or by the other payment methods made available by Stripe — the payment page is Stripe's, and card details do not pass through this site — or by bank transfer, or in cash when collecting in person.

Unpaid orders receive reminders by email; card orders are cancelled after seven days. Orders by bank transfer do not expire automatically and are cancelled manually by the seller if there is no reply.

Shipping

Orders are shipped as soon as possible. If something prevents it, the buyer receives notice by email.

Within Switzerland shipping is with Posta CH SA, always tracked. Abroad, shipping is as PRIORITY Plus small goods, tracked. For Italy there is also piego di libri by Poste Italiane: an economy shipment that is not tracked, posted in Italy every two or three weeks and therefore without a regular departure. For tracking, choose Priority Track & Trace.

Customs and duties

For shipments outside Switzerland, customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees are borne by the recipient.

Lost or damaged parcels

Liability is limited to what the chosen shipping service covers, and goes no further. Compensation from Posta CH SA corresponds to the damage proven, up to a maximum of 500 francs for shipments within Switzerland and 50 francs for shipments abroad. Piego di libri by Poste Italiane provides no compensation at all: choosing it means accepting that risk.

A damaged shipment must be reported to info@whiteness.ch within eight days of delivery, which is the deadline within which the postal service accepts a report of damage not visible from the outside. A shipment that does not arrive must be reported once the usual delivery time has been exceeded by more than two days. The claim with Posta CH SA is opened by the seller, who keeps the buyer informed.

Returns

Returns are not accepted.
